About Me
I am an assistant professor with the Department of Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Carolina. I received my PhD in Sport Management and Policy from the University of Georgia in 2024. I have also received graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Wake Forest University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama.
My research in sports economics focuses on the impact of management on firm performance, executive compensation, and other labor issues in sport. My research has been published in academic journals such as Sport Management Review, American Behavioral Scientist, and Applied Economics Letters. My research has also been featured in media outlets such as The Washington Post.
